Refund Policy

At Seahorse Hotel & Spa Negombo, we aim to provide every guest with a pleasant and hassle-free experience. This Refund Policy explains our terms regarding cancellations, refunds, and payment adjustments for room bookings, spa services, and other hotel offerings.

1. General Policy

All reservations and purchases made through our official website, phone, or authorized partners are subject to this Refund Policy. By confirming a booking, you agree to these terms.

2. Room Reservations

a. Cancellations Made in Advance
• Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled check-in date are eligible for a full refund with no cancellation fee.
• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled check-in date will be charged one night’s room rate as a cancellation fee.

b. No-Shows
• Guests who do not arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior notice will be charged the full amount of the first night’s stay.
• No refunds will be issued for no-shows.

c. Early Departures
• If you choose to check out earlier than planned, refunds for unused nights are subject to hotel management discretion and room re-booking availability.

3. Spa and Wellness Services
• Spa treatments canceled at least 6 hours before the appointment time are eligible for a full refund.
• Cancellations made within 6 hours or missed appointments will incur a 100% charge of the booked service amount.
• In the event of a medical emergency, rescheduling may be offered subject to availability.

4. Special Promotions and Non-Refundable Bookings

Some promotional or discounted rates may be marked as non-refundable. In such cases:
• No refunds or date changes will be permitted once the booking is confirmed.
• Please review the terms of your selected rate before completing the reservation.

5. Refund Method and Processing Time
• Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method (credit/debit card or bank transfer).
• Please allow 7–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.

6. Force Majeure

No refunds will be issued for cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, strikes, or travel restrictions. However, we may offer rescheduling or credits at our discretion.
